Business Development Officers

Hollard Insurance Ghana

To provide excellent service to clients and stakeholders by managing relationships and prospecting/selling Hollard Insurance policies to existing and prospective clients.

Report to: General Manager, Business Development

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Sell Hollard Insurance products to corporate and individual clients.
Achieve and exceed monthly and yearly premium targets for new business and renewal of existing businesses.
Initiate and develop relationships with corporate bodies and individuals with the aim of generating business as per agreed targets.
Recommend or implement changes to improve productivity, profitability, and growth
Prospect for clients and carry out presentations on companys products and services
Ensure that policy transactions (i.e., quotes, new business, endorsements, renewals, post loss, cancellations) are issued and changes recorded accurately and in a timely manner
Compliance with processes, policies and procedures and identify areas for improvement

Educational Requirements & Qualifications

University Degree or HND in Marketing
At least four (4) years experience in sales and relationship management skills
Knowledge in insurance products and terminology
Knowledge in risk assessment and insurance rating principles
Good communication skills (including writing and presentation skills)
Good computer skills especially in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
