Conducting transactions with customers using cash registers.
Accepting payments, whether in cash or credit.
Issuing receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
Redeeming stamps and coupons.
Cross-selling products and introducing new items.
Addressing customer complaints, providing guidance, and furnishing relevant information.
Welcoming customers upon entry or exit from the establishment.
Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness in checkout areas.
Recording transactions on balance sheets and reporting any discrepancies.
Managing merchandise returns and exchanges.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Proficiency in accurate and responsible transaction handling.
High energy levels coupled with strong customer service skills.
Basic proficiency in math and computer operations.
Ability to collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment to deliver excellent service.
Attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
A helpful and courteous approach to resolving complaints.
HND or degree qualification.
