Customer Accounts Officer


Applications are invited from qualified persons for appointment as: Customer Accounts Officer

Job Description
Posting of payment in accounting software and matching of customers’ accounts on daily basis.
Writing of postdated cheques due with different banks.
Posting of financial transaction into Anael Accounting System and ensuring accuracy of such data.
General expense voucher preparation and posting.
Keep track records of returned cheques and inform customers promptly.
Updating of accounts receivable.
Processing of suppliers’ invoices and issue of cheques for all accounts due.
Ensure accurate filling of daily report, bank statement, invoices and all other documents.
Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

Preparation of property report (Insurance)
Preparation of assets in progress report
Monthly Post Dated cheques inventory

Educational Requirements & Qualifications

HND or Degree in Accounting is preferred
Professional qualification in Accounting is a plus
1 or 2 years working experience in a similar position.
Good Financial Skills
Ability to pay attention to details
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Data management skills
Good analytical skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to identify and define problems
