The selected candidate will develop a market for company’s sanitation products across Ghana in areas that they are needed most to achieve the program goals of improved health.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Use market insights to understand and identify specific communities that need sanitation interventions most.
• Develop a business model that will ensure the uptake of Sato Pan/Collection boxes.
• Develop toilet solutions that will make use of Sato Pan/Collection Boxes to ensure continues drawdown of the products.
• Build capacity of Artisans to install Sato Pans/Collection boxes on bio-digester toilets, new open pit latrines, retrofit Sato Pans onto existing pit toilets among others.
• Develop a market for Sato pans in the private sector to ensure sustainability of the business.
• Develop a route to market strategy by identifying private sector channels through which Sato pans can be made accessible.
• Take full responsibility for the sale and drawdown of Sato pans.
• Engage with government (MMDAs) where necessary for collaboration to provide toilet solutions to communities.
• Work with SBCC Advisor/Marketing to generate demand through effective Behavior Change Communication around Sato pans as an odor free and fly free toilet.
• Develop protocols around the installation of Sato pans

Educational Requirements & Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Water and Sanitation, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering is required.
• Master’s Degree in Public Health, Water and Sanitation, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering

• A minimum 5 years sales experience with a proven sales record
• Experience working on a USAID sanitation project specifically toilet project

• Broad knowledge of water, hygiene and sanitation approaches
• Experience in developing toilet solutions
• Must already be engaged in sanitation business
• Should have experience in technical capacity building for artisans in sanitation businesses.
• Creative and proactive approach towards challenges
• Strong ability to persuade, motivate, influence and build customer relationships at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must be well-established with government (MMDAs) connection.
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Proven ability to achieve sanitation sales quotas.
• Must pay exceptional attention to detail.
• Must be a team player
• Good understanding on sanitation market trend
