Territory Sales Manager

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) plays a key role in supervising, monitoring, mentoring and leading sales agents in closing sales of Kohler Clarity filters. The TSM will work both in the field and in the Head office (Tamale), ensuring effective monitoring of sales agents. As part of an active sales team focusing on selling household water treatment systems, the TSM will work closely with the project coordinator and sales agents to ensure the overall implementation of the Household Water Treatment and Safe Storage (HWTS) Business plan.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports directly to the Project Coordinator
Has five (5) sales agents as direct reports
As part of the Household Water Treatment and Safe Storage team (HWTS), work in close collaboration with the wider iDE Ghana team

RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruit, Train and Onboard a team of sales agents
Set weekly target for sales
Identify territories and ready market
Establish group sales presentations
Ensure sales agents are in salesforce
Track closing rates
Conduct Infield coaching
Attend weekly meeting with Project Coordinator
Collect Customer Payments
Bank all Customer Sales Revenue
File All Order Forms
Follow up on Customer Referrals

Educational Requirements & Qualifications

At least 5 years’ work experience in sales and marketing.
Experience with leading sales teams
Available for regular travel within Northern Region
Excellent spoken and written English
Proficiency in Dagbani, Mampruli and any other Northern Languages
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Hold a valid license and capable to drive a motorcycle
Strong leadership capabilities and charisma
