Pricing Officer


Prepares quotations of prices of products and services.
Prepares purchasing orders to authorize payment to service providers
Prepares commercial invoices and packaging list on all importations and exportation.
Compiles data from branches in and outside of Ghana.
Prepare and update pricelist and payments that come in.
Prepares update for chemical from all locations.
Performs financial evaluation to assess the effectiveness of pricing actions.
Valuation of stock.
Partners with purchasing buyers, product managers and sales organization to assure profit-maximizing approach to market.
Handles tracking sheets for various shipments.
Assists on assembly, final production, and quality control of pricing proposals.
Prepares and updates order book on weekly basis.
Reconciling clients’ chemical orders and updating them on shipping schedule (i.e. the tracking sheet) on weekly basis.
Prepares invoices for clients for container rentals, chemicals and slings.
Responsible for the filing of invoices in debtor receivables files.
Prepares spreadsheet for all invoices that will be prepared for the week.
All printed hard copy invoices should be filed.
Prepare sales invoices, ensuring completeness and accuracy in a timely manner
Design a schedule or register to monitor when invoices are delivered to clients and note the due date for invoices.
Submits reports on orders to the Commercial Manager.
Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time

Educational Requirements & Qualifications

A University degree in Business Administration/ BA Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics or its equivalent.
A professional qualification in the related field.
Minimum of 2 years work experience.

Ability to understand best pricing and quotation standard practice.
Ability to handle work with adequate precision and effective client confidentiality.
Ability to analyze and solve problems

Personality Competencies:
Ability to relate effectively to people at all levels
Good verbal communication ( English) and presentation skills
Assertiveness – ability to articulate view points and stick to them where necessary
Coping with pressure: - ability to cope with work, time and people pressures.
Ability to keep and deliver to time and other commitments,
Detail Orientation: - ability to cope with detail without getting lost; ability to pay attention to details, be concerned or analyze detail without getting bogged down.
