Job Description
Our client, An International drilling company is currently looking to recruit an efficient and proactive Human Resource and Admin Manager to support their operations in Ghana.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources and administration policies, strategies, programmes, rules and regulations;
HR Functions
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
Manage the recruitment and selection process
Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counseling
Overseeing exit interviews
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
Nurture a positive working environment
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Oversee pay plan, compensation and benefits program
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Developing, analyzing and updating the company’s evaluation program
Developing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures
Maintaining and revising the company’s handbook on policies and procedures
Maintaining company directory and other organizational charts
Recommending new policies, approaches, and procedures
Admin Functions
Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline process.
Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations
Manage schedules and deadlines
Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints
Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation
Provide technical and logistical support for all administrative personnel
Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities and tradespersons
Organize and supervise other office activities
Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations
Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments

Educational Requirements & Qualifications

Degree in Human Resource/Business Administration or similar discipline.
Masters degree in Human Resource/Business Administration or similar discipline.
Minimum five years experience in a similar role.
Well organized.
Ability to work independently.
Proven experience as HR & Administration manager
In-depth understanding of office management procedures and departmental and legal policies
Working knowledge of financial and facilities management principles
Proficient in MS Office suit
An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Exceptional leadership and people management skills
Assertive with excellent communication skills.
Ability to solve problems and take initiative.
Ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships.
Ability to oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and procedures.
