Regional Sales Manager


The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is part of the salesforce for the RuSHiNG Sanitation Program. The RSM plays a key role in supporting the NSM to achieve the target of 61,560 toilets sold and delivered throughout the three Northern regions. The RSM is directly responsible for the supervision of a team of Sales Managers in the day to day management of Sales Agents within their respective territories.

Reports directly to the NSM, and as and when required collaborate with the Innovation Director.
Has sales managers as direct reports
RESPONSIBILITIES – Subject to modifications as and when required.
Recruitment and Training of Sales Agents in collaboration with the Sales Managers
Provide Strategic, Tactical, Operational and Functional leadership for the Sales Managers within the assigned territory
Generate action plans to enhance performance and productive capacity of the assigned sales territory
Execute sales goals for the respective territory in collaboration with Sales Managers
Track sales data as well as provide timely sales reports for decision making
Demonstrate continuous development of in-depth knowledge about WRP Sales Methodologies.
Conduct gender-sensitive marketing events and promotions (for e.g. community road shows etc.) and implement systems to ensure effectiveness of campaigns.
Conduct gender-sensitive market research to understand market trends, requirements and gather feedback.
Contribute to develop, evaluate, and implement gender-sensitive marketing plans and strategies.
Document and provide marketing information to sales team and senior management.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the National Sales Manager

Educational Requirements & Qualifications

Graduated with Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics
At least two years’ work experience in Sales Management and Business Development
Organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and hardworking,
Team-work and problem solving
Ability to Speak; Twi, Hausa, Dagbane, Daagare, or any other Languages from the three Northern regions of Ghana.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both oral and written
Self-motivated, target driven and results oriented
Microsoft Word and Excel
Holds a Valid License and capability to ride a Motorbike
